About the Course
SIT (Standards-Intensive Training) is a foundational performance-based course designed to introduce students to three essential principles of defensive firearms application: Mindset, Accuracy, and Speed. This course challenges students to understand how these principles work together to create effective, accountable performance under pressure.
Through guided instruction and practical range application, students will develop a stronger comprehension of self-defense concepts, performance standards, and ideal practices for responsible firearm use. Emphasis is placed on building deliberate habits, sound decision-making, and measurable performance rather than simply shooting for repetition.
By the conclusion of the course, students will leave with a clearer understanding of defensive shooting fundamentals, the importance of maintaining objective standards, and a framework for continued skill development with purpose and discipline.
