About the event
The Daily Engagement Concept (DEC) Webinar Series is a four-week training program focused on practical concepts that impact everyday life and personal safety. Each session is designed to help students build a stronger baseline of understanding for recognizing, avoiding, engaging, or disengaging from potential violence in daily environments.
Week 1: Introduces a foundational discussion on legal considerations and responsible decision-making.
Week 2: Focuses on home defense fundamentals and developing a layered safety mindset within the home.
Week 3: Explores “Parking Lot Principles,” emphasizing awareness, positioning, and threat recognition in transitional spaces.
Week 4: Concludes the series with a conversation about living in a violent society while maintaining mental and emotional stability.
This series is designed to encourage thoughtful preparation, practical awareness, and responsible personal protection through guided discussion and real-world application.
